Apple Description
Medium to large sized apple. Bi-colored, red and green with some striping (the pictured example is less vibrant and striped than many we picked). Known as Alkmene in Germany where it was initially grown.

Cider Description
Color - Gold, brilliant, mostly clear.
Aroma - Light, fruity, apricot.
Flavor - Medium to light body. Medium to high acidity. Long tart finish. Slightly drying but otherwise no noticeable tannins.
Overall Impression - Not remarkable but not bad. Fairly standard, sharp cider.
