Sourcing Local - Film Series

We want you, our customers, to see what goes into the food and drinks we create. A lot of restaurants play lip service to sourcing food from local farms, but we do it honestly. We source the solid majority of our food and beverage ingredients from local farms, including grains, meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables, and of course apples. Many of the farmers we source from are our friends, and we know them to be good stewards of the land.

This video series provides a cross section of just some of the many farms and food producers we work with. The videos are short (you could watch them all in one sitting) and together they give a sense of a vibrant local food community that we are part of in Southwest Wisconsin. Food doesn’t start as a commodity in a box from a distributor. Food has roots. When we connect to those roots, our lives take on more meaning, and our food takes on a richness of people, place, land, and community.
