Apple Description

Medium sized, golden, russeted apple.  A mutation of Golden Delicious, with similar characteristics plus a bit of the spice that comes with many russets.

Specific Gravity = 1.053

pH = 3.76

Total Acidity (Malic) = 6.2

Total Tannins = 0.08%

Cider Description

Color - Gold/amber, mostly clear.  Very attractive.

Nose - Subtle.  Apple, brandy.

Flavor - Medium body.  Alcohol bite fills it out.  Nice acidity level - not too high, not too low.  Little to no noticeable tannins.  Pleasant apple/grape flavor.

Overall Impression - A very good cider on its own.  It's attractive, and everything is in nice balance (except that it lacks tannins).
